The 2025 Heartland Book Fest was on October 10-11 in the Kansas City Public Library and Mid-Continent Public Library. For the third year, the Kansas City Public Library, Missouri Humanities, the Missouri Center for the Book, and not the Mid-Continent Public Library are proud to present the Heartland Book Festival, which is free to all.
Trina: “I was able to see Derrick Barnes the children’s author of The Incredible Human Henson Blayze. I was able to see some of the panels like how to write horror and How to build realistic fantasy worlds. There were even local Kansas authors selling their books. The event had full panels for adults and children that were literature themed. Heartland also passed out free books and tote bags to all who attended.”
