Haskell Splits Series at Home 

Haskell split a doubleheader vs Kansas Christian College on March 24, 2026, earning their second win on the year and marking their first home win on the new field. Abrianna Herrera hit the first and only home run on the new home field in the win. 

The first game was a low scoring affair, with the first run coming in the bottom of the second with Thena Lee hitting a double to get Tishyla Allen in. KCC got some offense going in the top of the third scoring three runs. Haskell responded in the bottom with three runs, putting them back on top 4-3 with Paizley Aldrich scored off a Mariah Graves double, Graves scored off an Abrianna Herrera triple, and finally Abrianna Herrera scored off a dropped third strike. 

The game went silent until the bottom of the fifth when Abrianna Herrera came to the plate and hit the first home run on the field scoring 2 runs and later in the inning MaeShayla Tye scored Abrielle Herrera to push the lead to 7-3. KCC would score one final  run, as Haskell would win, with Abrianna Herrera scoring Ariana Munoz to cap off the game at 8-4  for their second win of the year and first home victory. 

The second game was a run-rule,with KCC taking an 0-11 lead by the bottom of the fifth before Haskell scored their first run. In the bottom of the fifth, Haskell scored 2 runs, with Graves scoring Munoz and Abrianna Herrera scoring Aldrich to end the game 2-11, splitting the series. Haskell will face KCC again at home April 16, 2026 in a doubleheader.
