Haskell Women’s Basketball 2025 CAC Champions Press conference

Overview By: Nola Levings

On Thurs. March 10, the women’s basketball team hosted a NAIA watch party to find out who they would be playing for round 1 of the tournament. The party featured a press conference where players and coaching staff were interviewed by host Allison Levering and both coach Strom and coach “O” were given blankets by the Student Government Association. “Dedication, commitment, [high] basketball IQ,” are all terms used by Strom to describe why his team is so special. When asked what the team could improve on, Strom says “we can shoot the ball, we can score the ball, but we got to be able to get the ball to our shooter.” The girls will be heading to Sioux Center, IA on March 14 to play head on against the #1 seed Dordt (Iowa). Live stream of the game can be found on the NAIA website.
