My Momma’s Son

My momma’s son can’t be replaced by none.
Momma’s pride and joy ’cause I’m your boy.
Making your light shine as they cut me from the vine.
Put me in your arms, where I knew I was safe from harm.
Stopped all of my crying cause I acted like I was dying.
Dying to be with my mom.
Cause she’s the only one that keeps me calm.
Having fun throughout the years.
Sharing different types of tears.
Now that you’re gone, got me feeling all alone.
But I got a baby sister, who’s like you in every way.
Cause even though I get into trouble.
She prays for me every day.
We miss you all the time, but we both know you’re fine.
Putting our minds at ease, knowing the Lord gave you peace.
