Student Government Association announces Mental Health Day for students
On April 2, the Student Government Association (SGA) will host a mental health resource fair and performance by arts collective GNWY at 6:00 PM in Coffin Complex. GNWY, which stands for “Generation Why,” focuses on delivering a message of hope and purpose through hip-hop, spoken word, dance, arts and storytelling. Along with community and school resources tabling, there will be free food provided for attendees.

Friends and relatives to honor late Cole Brings Plenty with gathering and memorial walk
On April 4, all singers and relatives are welcome to meet at the fire pit in front of the auditorium to gather in prayer and honor student Cole Brings Plenty. Following the gathering, the 155 Indian Run Club will host the “Cole Brings Plenty Memorial 5K Run/3K Walk” at the Billy Mills Cross Country Course.


HINU to host Spring Resilience Powwow
On April 5, students, staff, alumni and community members will fill up Coffin Complex for the 2025 Spring Resilience Powwow. Students Sara Bointy (Comanche/Kiowa/Dakota) and Darrell Hill, Jr. (Oneida/Menominee) will serve as Head Lady and Head Man dancers. They will also be hosting a Women’s vs. Men’s Fancy special.
