My newfound friend, how have you been?
You barely know me, yet you pray for me.
Your voice is so sweet; people get chills when you speak.
We might be in a tough situation,
But God is our salvation.
We’re there for one another cause we have each other.
Through suffering and pain,
A true friend I have gained.
When this is all over, I’ll still remember you forever.
Through the thick and thin, you’ll remain my friend till the very end.
